This holiday break is for weeks 40 or 41 in apartment 116 at the Club Puerto Calma development, Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. (Part of the reputable “HOLIDAY CLUB RESORTS” organisation. In 2016 weeks 40 and 41 are weeks (Sat 1st October to Saturday 8th October) or (sat 8th october to sat 15th october 2016) Puerto Rico, Gran Canarias’s weather is hard to beat. A trifle to hot in summer but during the month October, of which this time slot is allocated, is spot on. The chance of rain occurring is highly unlikely, and sunbathing weather as good as guaranteed every day of your stay. Located on the edge of Puerto Rico Harbour, in the south of Gran Canaria, overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The Resort itself has a poolside cafe' with a large pool, whirlpool/hot tub, children's play area, restaurant & bar with entertainment, laundry facilities & exercise equipment. The accommodation (sleeps 4) comprises of a spacious open planned self catering apartment with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, with balcony/terrace, 1 double bedroom + lounge area (with a double sofa bed). The complex is situated close to a bus route which provides a frequent service all around the island. There is a very good, reasonably priced taxi service always available. Nearby, only a 10 min walk you can find the gorgeous sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, various Entertainment, a supermarket, Medical Centre, hairdressers, spa & casino. The Aqua park is only a short drive away. Water Skiing, Wind Surfing, Boat trips and excursions can be booked at reception. Flying from Gatwick London- Las Palmas Airport is just under 4 hours, the resort is a 25 minute road journey away, transfers can be booked through me and paid at time of travel. Within the Holiday Club Resort, there are 4 other Hotels in the Amadores area, only a short bus ride away, of which you can also use their facilities.
