3 x COMFREY PLANTS FOR 5.00 INCLUDING DELIVERY

5 GBP

Comfrey is used as a green manure, its leaves make an excellent liquid feed for plants that is both high in potash and minerals. Great for feeding tomatoes and other plants.

Comfrey is a perennial plant that grows rapidly. It has many other uses including use as an activator in compost heaps to speed up decomposition of other plant material.
I have a number of comfrey plants that I have grown on that are surplus to my requirements.

Growing comfrey is a great way of 'gardening on a budget' as once you have the plants growing well the leaves can be chopped back and used time after time.It is a must have plant if you have an allotment or a veg garden!

I can send out 3 of these plants by first class post with the plants trimmed back for £5.00 inclusive of postage and packing. The plants have been grown in pots. However to reduce postage costs the plants have been trimmed back and have had some compost removed from the roots. At this time of year this does not create any problems as bare rooted plants. The roots are then wrapped in cling film to keep them moist before they are sent out in a large padded envelope by Royal Mail first class post. Please see photographs to assess size of plants shown ready for posting and the padded envelope used. Note that the plants shown in the photograph are Welsh poppies but the Comfrey will be the same size and packed up the same way.

This delivery method will require the plants to be unpacked and planted up in pots or in the garden and watered in on receipt.

I can accept payment by PayPal or by Faster Payment bank transfer.

Larger numbers of plants can be sent out priced at 6 for £10 or 9 for £13.

I have Welsh poppy and Aquilegia plants for sale, same price as the Comfrey.

I also have seasoned hardwood wood logs for sale at £45.00 for a jumbo bag (approximately one cubic metre), for collection only. Please contact me for more information or see my other adverts on this.
