The parts are from a Bf109 flown by Staffel Kapitan (Squadron Leader) Lt. Marx, shot down on the 15th August 1940 in FRANT, East Sussex. It is paired with Bf109 number 3759 pilot Ob. H. Kunze shot down on the 15th September 1940 in CASTLE LYMPNE, Kent. They are displayed on a museum board from the former WW2 Control Room Museum at Blake Hall near North Weald in Essex.
