A large Oriental vase with elephant handles and carved with people and other Oriental scenery.
We'll call it the elephant vase, which is a substantial piece measuring 12 inches high and 9-3/4 inches wide (elephant head to elephant head). Of course, ivory use has been banned for many years, and this is a hand cast and carved marble composite resin.
The vase is quite heavy and stable, weighing in at around 4.5 kg
I know there are two at Cedar Falls, near Taunton, in the dining room, on the mantle piece. If you know anyone from there and they might like another one, please ask them to get in touch.
