Gorgeous oval mirror newly refurbished by carefully hand painting with Farrow & Ball's lamp room grey,a fabulous soft French shade that will suit so many stylish interiors. The frame is very old and made of plaster/gesso with wonderful delicate moldings around the sides. The paint has been gently rubbed back just on the surface to highlight the detail. It is in very good condition for its age,the mirror glass itself is reclaimed but again in excellent condition. It measures 78 cms tall by 51 cms wide. This elegant piece will make a beautiful authentic addition to any room scheme. Can be wall hung as shown or also looks good resting on a chest of dresser horizontally.
