Do you like Barn Dancing or never done it before? It’s great fun and enjoyable exercise. Come and join us at St.John’s Church Hall in the Meads (Meads Street) for Barn Dancing Sessions from January to April. Ample unrestricted parking in St. John’s Road round the corner from the Hall. 7 sessions starting next Wednesday afternoon January 18th then 25th , Feb. 15th and 22nd, March 15th and 22nd, April 5th 1.45-4pm. Selected simple and easy old and new community dances from around the World as danced by village folk and ordinary people over the last thousand years. No experience nor partner needed, casual clothes. We walk each dance through before dancing it to music,- circles, squares, long sets, etc. We are a mixed experience group of convivial dancers who would welcome new dancers whether they are new to Barn Dancing or haven’t done any since school days. No.3 buses from the Town centre stop outside or a lift is possible from end of Hyde Gardens by the side of the Eastbourne Tourist Information Office at 1.35pm by request. Cost- as we made a good surplus at our Christmas dance the sub will be a single payment of £5 then £1 each session attended, this covers the hire of the Hall and the included refreshments.
