Peavey Bass Mk III Head with Fender Bassman 135 Cab, excellent gigging rig, easily overpowers 2 ego fuelled metal guitarist (as all guitarists are !), so don't think its naff just because its old - if I was still gigging, you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead, hands !

The peavey head is from 1980 and the cab a similar age i think, but they produce a beautiful deep sound, and as you can see from the pictures, there is a lot of control over the final sound to be had. I also have a manual for the head (downloaded from the net).

This cab is solid as a mountain, speakers (4x12) have been replaced from the originals, not sure what make they are, but they give a nice deep, low sound ( I play a 5 string bass), with a good volume.
Trapezoidal speaker arrangement in the cab gives a nice wide sound spread, instead of all 4 speakers pointing in one direction.
Cab has lockable rubber castors, so no need to worry about it vibrating off the side of the stage !
There are a couple of age related marks, but these are purely cosmetic, and all on the rear of the cab.
Never had any sort of a problem with the cab or the head in the nearly 20 years I've owned them.
