A Beginners course in Creative Writing will start on Wednesday the 11th of January 2017 and finish on 15th of February. Course Content: Over the six week course we will look at the basics of character, plot and dialogue. We will discover how to produce a character, bring them to life and make them memorable. We will also look at how to plot fiction looking at methods of planning, mind maps, story boards, and chapter breakdowns. There will be a number of writing exercises where you will have the opportunity to experiment with character and plot in different forms of writing; short stories, flash fiction and as part of a novel.
