Brooklyn home - £150 tall, slim, beautiful
W90cm - D50cm - H75cm

The Brooklyn Home is the answer to a common problem … where people would love to have a regular Brooklyn but don’t have space for a 120cm wide table. The Brooklyn Home is only 90cm wide, but to regain lost surface area, I’ve sneaked the depth up to 50cm, resulting in a table top that ends up pretty much the same size.

Despite the change in dimensions, this variation still retains the classic tall slim Brooklyn appearance, and makes a very versatile piece of handmade furniture suitable for a wide range of uses, including make-up tables, compact desks, and for trendy teenage bedrooms.

Please see my other listings, or visit my website craftedtime to see the full range.

Each Brooklyn is individually handmade to order, so please allow a week or so for me to make it.

It will come complete with a waxing kit, a safety bracket, and a 5 year warranty.

Colour: Your Brooklyn can be supplied in one of three shades. I've tried to be as accurate as possible in the photographs, but please be aware that your computer or phone screen can have a significant effect on what you see.
Haytime - a delicate soft hue, clean and bright
Sidewalk - stronger tones, highlighting the natural wood grain
Broadway - darkly inviting, great contrast against light coloured walls

Finish: Waxed or Unwaxed? I'm happy to supply the table ready waxed (to save you the bother), or you can choose to do this yourself using the waxing kit supplied. I give you the choice because some people prefer the matt finish of unwaxed, and a few may wish to adjust the shade of colour by further staining, which needs to be done before the wax is applied.
Unwaxed – the wood looks stunning, but be careful with spills
Waxed – wonderful aroma, soft feel surface, and a good level of protection

No tools required: You will not need any of your own tools. The top comes fully prepared with pre-drilled holes, and the legs come ready to be attached. The stainless steel fixing screws are in a bag along with a correct sized soft grip screwdriver. Just do up the screws and you’re done!

Showroom: If you'd like to see some samples before ordering or be guided through the choices, I'd be delighted to meet you personally at the showroom – but this has to be by arrangement because I’m usually beavering away in the work shed! The showroom is in Longstanton, a village near Cambridge. You are also welcome to collect your finished table from here, in which case it will normally be fully assembled and ready to go.

*FREE Delivery: by UK Mail using their premium interactive service. This is my main method of shipping out orders, and will cover the vast majority of customers who live in mainland England, Wales and southern Scotland. When your piece is ready it is carefully packed in two parcels – the table top wrapped and protected by itself, and a second box containing the legs and everything else. The courier will email you to suggest a delivery date, which you are welcome to change, and you can also select delivery to a neighbour, leave in a safe place, or collect from a local depot. On the day of delivery you will receive another email advising you of the expected time slot, and you can also live track the parcels as they approach.
Scottish Highlands mainland & Northern Ireland: Because these are heavy and bulky parcels, the cost to deliver them beyond UK Mail's standard zone is quite expensive, so unfortunately I can’t include shipping to these places free of charge. However, all I ask for is a modest contribution of £15 per table purchased (which is only £7.50 per box). Please contact me to use this service
Islands & Eire: The shipping contribution for Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, all islands off Scotland, and Eire is £20 per table purchased (£10 per box). Please contact me to use this service.

Bespoke guidance: If you'd like your Brooklyn to be a different size please contact me to sort out the details and price. The most common variation for a regular Brooklyn is just to alter the width to make it fit exactly where needed, typically in the range of 75cm to 150cm. However, you can actually specify any width from 30cm to 180cm, allowing the creation of everything from chic Brooklyn vase stands to long Brooklyn corridor tables. The depth of a Brooklyn is not often changed, but can be specified between 30cm and 60cm.

Questions: If there are questions you would like to ask, then please send me an email , and I’ll get back to you as quickly as I.
