We have owned this BMW in the family for the last 3 years. It has never missed a beat starts first time and runs smoothly.
It has developed a small water leak from one of the radiator pipes lower down the engine. Small leak that requires the radiator to be topped up every 200-300 miles. I drive it 3 miles a day so drives perfectly. Obviously if not topped up it so I over heat.
comfy and still handles extremely well, for the age. Only a few body work marks as expected for a 17 year old car. MAD wing has a dent in it courses by another driver in a car park a and that is the only major bodywork damage. The dent is about 10cm long so nothing horrific.
It has had the following:
New thermostat housing, new battery, new tyres 8months ago,MOT til November, new starter motor last year, new radiator and pipes in December. Full service in April.
As mentioned this car is brilliant but it is 17 years old. Apart from a small issue arou d the coolant level.
I am selling this car quickly and cheaply so sensible offers considered.
