2004 04-PLATE BMW 320D ES 150BHP IN METALLIC SAPPHIRE BLACK WITH LIGHT GREY INTERIOR, FACTORY M-SPORT SUSPENSION,1 FAMILY OWNER FROM NEW ONLY 85,000 MILES.Offered for sale with a genuine, certified 85,000 miles and full documented service history, this totally original BMW E46 320D ES was bought brand new by my father as a company car in May 2004.As you would expect, it was always serviced and maintained correctly at our local and supplying dealer, Chandlers BMW Worthing with all receipts being retained and service book stamped.When they asked if I was interested in buying the BMW I couldn't say no, given the low mileage, ownership history and with it being the full 150BHP 320D ES model with the excellent M-Sport suspension straight from the factory, and of course the colour!It had covered 79,000 miles and due to me working from home is only showing 85,000 now, I still love the way it drives now with loads of feedback from the steering and chassis and plenty of low end pull. I have spent most of my working life in the motortrade and always been a fan of BMWs and how they compare against other brands, so I have worked on and owned many, this one is now for sale as I have bought a later model E91 Sport Touring which I am very pleased with.It has not given me any trouble whatsoever, in fact apart from (If I remember rightly) the fuel pump being replaced when the car was fairly new, I don't think it has ever gone wrong, only needing the regular services and replacement brakes and tyres.Here's a summary of the condition: Exterior - As I have known this car all it's life I can tell you that it has never been in any type of accident and that the metallic Sapphire Black paintwork is 100% original. Of course this means that it does show it's age in places and has a few scratches but nothing through the paint and no rust. There are a few dents which I ought to point out to give an honest description - the driver's side front wing has a dent on the front of the wheel arch which is visible in the first photo (no broken paint), the bonnet has a couple of soft dents on it and the passenger side rear wheel arch has been caught on a wooden gate post and pushed in bit (see photo 10). If you look around the car closely you will pick out some thumbnail size dents but apart from what I have mentioned it is still a very nice looking car and 100% original.Interior - Light grey cloth seats, no stains, rips or holes anywhere, never been smoked in and freshly valeted with professional upholstery machine. Light grey carpets with only a bit of wear in driver's footwell, also been cleaned. No broken or missing trim, electric windows and mirrors working as they should, all lights and instruments good. Factory fitted thick rimmed leather M Sport steering wheel in very nice condition. Factory 6 speaker sound system with CD/Radio front unit plus 6 disc cd multichanger in boot.Mechanics - Engine performance exactly as it should be, no unusual noises or fluid leaks, no problems with gearbox or drivetrain, good tight suspension and steering. Brakes fine.Wheels & Tyres - Original 10 spoke 16" alloy wheels, unless I have missed anything I can describe these as undamaged, the tyres protect the wheels very well so they have never been kerbed on the rims or faces, see photos, all 4 in great condition. Tyres are 225/50 16" Pirelli P7 Cinturato, this car has only ever been run on these OEM specification tyres and the current set have only covered around 7000 miles with a good 6mm of tread all round. I have receipts for most of the tyre changes.Paperwork & Service History - Original owner's handbook, radio manual, technical book and stamped service book. Service invoices from BMW plus independent specialist, all previous MoT certificates. 2 original remote keys plus the slim emergency key.Services including brake fluid change every 2 years from new - May 2006 35036, March 2008 59377, May 2010 68153, May 2012 75212.The car went to Chandlers BMW Worthing on 4th September to have the passenger side airbag replaced under warranty/recall, the letters and invoice are included. As it was due an oil change I had them carry out the Oil Service, they have given it a good check over and stamped the service book at 85061 miles, invoice included again.MoT until April 14th 2016Another thing worth noting is some work carried out February 2013 - the rear trailing arm bushes were replaced along with front 'lollypop' bushes and track rod ends, and then 4x4 laser wheel alignment so the car steers and corners very well indeed.Car is clean, checked over and ready to go, available for viewing any day of the week Payment by cash or bank transfer preferred more photographs to be uploaded if interested ring me on
