The car is for sale as my new job provides a company car.
Full service history from official licensed BMW garages will be provided along with all documentation originally provided with the vehicle.
This car has had one previous owner (not including me) who also used this car for business, there were no signs that the car had ever been smoked in, I too have not smoked in the vehicle.
Being a fan of motorvehicles in general this car has been treated very well, cleaned regularly and serviced regularly as the FSH will reflect.
She has had an even balance of small town and motorway driving, current mileage is at 55,000.
I have been in your shoes wondering if I can trust the description of a car advertisement written by the owner which is why I will be completely honest.
The car gets driven roughly 20 miles per day to and from work with the addition of any site visits at work, usually no more than an extra 50 miles per week.
I have never taken the car off the road, it has never been damaged or been in an accident, license plates available in pictures so feel free to carry out a HPI check.
I have stretched the cars legs on occasion, it's a 3 litre after all. The car has never been abused, thrashed or red lined, seeing as the cars ECU literally will not let you damage the engine.
Now on to my personal favourite things about the car.
If you have never driven a BMW, you should, they are amazing.
The ride in the model (330D M Sport) is firm but soft enough to coast over speed bumps without an issue, soaking up potholes and floating around corners.
When drive sport is engaged the car is a totally different animal.
The DSG (flappy padel) gearbox is smooth and seamless, when used in drive will provide a semiautomatic style of driving meaning you can manually downshift and after a few seconds, if no further manual inputs are used, the car will switch back to auto.
When DSG is used in drive sport the car will be in permanent manual mode allowing you to stay in the chosen gear for as long as you like. With that said, planting your foot in second gear will not redline the vehicle, it will stay at 4500 rpm until the car automatically shifts you into third gear, before returning to full manual mode again. This goes back to my earlier point of the car not allowing its driver to damage the engine.
This model features the iDrive system which allows control of telephone, entertainment, climate control and NavPlus. iDrive is crucial for me as it allows me to make and take phone calls through the car, stream music from my phone to the car, and get a complete readout on the cars health and due service times.
The engine is quiet and tame for the most part but a lead foot will bring on the chorus of the six cylinders. Road noise is not loud although noticeable as I am running Bridgestone Potenza run flat tyres. On that note, the front left tyre could do with replacing as is low. I am of course willing to discuss figures as this needs to be done.
There is still MOT on the car which I will happily provide upon inspection.
Most Importantly.
I have no problem allowing a test drive, in fact I thoroughly recommend it!
I will require proof of UK license and current vehicle insurance before-hand however.
If you cannot provide this I am more than happy to take you for a drive as a passenger.
I am advertising the car for £12,495 which I think you'll find is well priced in comparison to other models on sale, of course I am willing to consider all sensible offers.
