The sample dresses are made in small sizes to fit the display mannequins. (Between a size 8 to12). The calico patterns are from the shop samples seen plus many outfits made for clients which can be traced and adapted to fit all shapes sizes. (I have a BA honours in Fashion Design so you can be assured the designs are high quality and authentic).
The stock is everything needed to start up your own dress making business. There are lots of bridal trims, lace trims, ykk zips, threads, fabrics and other extras including many fabric supplier details, lots of fabric sample books, silk sample books, trims, display mannequins, silk dupion fabrics, bridal fabrics, laces, haberdashery etc, to give you a good start up or to compliment an existing business. These beautiful dress designs are unique and timeless. Many would lend themselves well for mass production as every shape of body is catered for. There are endless styles of wedding dresses, mother of the bride, evening wear and prom dresses in the calico patterns with years of product development. There are also patterns for big ball gowns, coats, cloaks and many assorted jackets to suit all shapes, age range and sizes. Viewing is essential to fully appreciate what is on offer here. The sample garments alone are worth more than the starting price and can be sold individually. I am downsizing for retirement and don't have time to do this. Everything would stack up nicely and fit in a transit van, so a delivery firm could be used. The bridal garment rail is included, it is much higher than a normal heavy-duty dress rail. There is another quality chrome heavy duty display rail with 4 adjustable arms, which is flat packed and never been used. There are 4 full sized shop mannequins including one which allows you to display ladies trousers. In addition, there are two hanging mannequins for display. Please note, you are purchasing all the dress stock and fabrics as specified and shown in the photo’s as well as the copyright on all these designs. There are also additional fabrics, dresses, fabric rolls and remnants not shown. Images of the sample dresses are also available via email, to help you with marketing and setting up your website.
The sample garments are made in beautiful silks and high-quality fabrics. Wedding dresses made to measure, retailed for £1,000 - £2,500, depending on the chosen fabrics. Mother of the bride outfits made to measure were sold in the region of £595 or much more, depending on the complexity of the style and fabrics chosen. Shift dresses, in plain fabrics or with a lace overlay made to measure retailed at £395. These are timeless, very popular, made to measure, proven to be consistent best sellers. There are endless fabric and colour choices to suit all clients. The calico patterns, pattern blocks, and sample dresses are solid foundations in which to break into the wedding and special occasion wear market. These quality designs have been continually used and adapted to accommodate every style you would ever need in this industry, taking many years of staff wages, to develop.

There are 100's of calico patterns with pictures or sketches attached to many to show the design. Maternity Brides and Mature brides were catered for too, as well as plus size brides of all ages. Once clients were happy with their calico fitting, the chosen fabric is cut using the toile traced off and adapted for them, the same as you would use a paper pattern. Usually only half of the calico was used as the fabric was mostly cut on the fold. Many can simply be placed on the mannequins to see how they look. There is and always will be, a strong market for good quality dressmaking. All the hard work has been done in the making of the samples and calico patterns. Mother of the brides often seek out this service to avoid the risk of anyone turning up at the wedding in the same' off the peg' outfit. Brides will travel miles for their dream dress.
