Oh my goodness! It’s so nice to meet you but I’m soooo shy I may take a minute to come out and say Hello......! My name is Cass and I’m a lovely black and tan female gsd and I’m about 6-7 years of age. I was picked up as a stray before I was rescued by Cefni and am really really hoping every single day that someone out there is reading this and thinks I will be the perfect forever companion for them. I’ve so much love to give to the right person or family - once I get to know them and overcome my shyness.... it’s just that new things scare me and I’m a bit of a nervous girl. I really wish and dream of finding someone who can spend a lot of time with me, and help me understand that the world isn’t such a big scary, nasty place after all. I’m good at a few basic commands although I’d be very happy to continue working on them with you so I can get even better!!!! I’ll be the first to admit I do pull a bit on my lead when I’m taken out for a walk. I’ve just not been taught properly before! I don’t get why you just don’t go at my pace haha. Is it because I have four legs and you only have two do you think??? I’m not sure what a head collar actually does but Cefni seem to think one may possibly help me to learn to slow down a bit and walk nicely for you! So let me tell you what I think I might like in my perfect home. Well I think as I’m so shy, my new home should be nice and quiet and calm. This will help me settle so I can learn to be a bit braver! I would love it if my new people knew how to help me.... I know that sometimes teaching a big doggy like me can be hard work but I want to stay with you forever so if you have had lots of big doggies before and have lots of experience then please PLEASE consider choosing me. I promise I will give you all my love in return and shower you with kisses every single day! I think though I wouldn’t really like to live with a cat or another dog. I’m afraid sometimes I have not reacted very well to other doggies in the past. And once I even got into a fight... It was horrible and scary and so in my own home I think it would be best if I was on my own so I can relax and chill out properly. I can then concentrate on learning to be a big brave girl. I’m microchipped and If you decide I am the perfect furry friend for you I will have had all my vaccinations be the time you take me home. By the way if you DO want to take me home I travel ok in the car!!! I’m sorry but as I was found as a stray I’m not allowed to be rehomed with children under 9 or preferably with no children at all... So do I sound like I could fit into your life (and in your chair and on your knee and on the end of your bed...haha?) I’m sure someone out there has a Cass shaped space in their heart and is just waiting for me to fill it right up! Think of me staring out of my kennel every day just waiting for you to come along and help me be the brave confident girl I know I can turn into with your love and patience.....
