We are members of The Vikings, Britain's Oldest and Largest Dark Age Re-enactment Society. The Society attends events up and down the country, showing Life from the Dark ages and early medieval. Our Group specializes in the Viking and Norman side of this, we sometimes have our own events or attend events held by other groups within our Society, also attending the larger events held by the Society. We are looking for people who have an interest in this period of time who may like to learn a craft or take part in our battles. No experience is needed but a willingness to learn and take part, single people must be over 18 unless joining with an adult, whole families are welcome. We will teach you how to fight with Swords & Shields, Hand Axes, 2 Handed Axes, Spears, Javelins, Bow & Arrows, help you make your Costumes and teach you Crafts and if we cant, then point you in a direction of someone who can.
