The Dynamics Series combines design with function, achieving a product that

The DS-12 incorporates a 12? low frequency transducer with a 3? voice coil.
The DS-12 shares the same M-3 high frequency compression driver as the
DS-8 but with its own proprietary crossover network and CD horn.

Review
The self-powered DAS-12A speakers are great. I've used the not-powered DAS-12's for monitors and speakers-on-sticks. Any band I have used them with have only good things to say about them. I've used the DAS-15's also; but only because the musicians insisted they want them. Ocassionally I'll use (2) 15's for the drummer and the 12's for the other muscians. No complaints. And after asking once or twice for more monitor they don't ask again. Both the 12's and 15's sound very clean, have a good bottom with a very nice non-honky horn. I don't know if you've noticed but DAS has moved from Europe into South America and has been gradually pushing its way North into the USA. I've noticed there have been an occasional concert and/or touring group using their array rigs.
Those retail for $974 and MAP for $828.
