Our annual two day behind the scenes access ‘open workshop’ event on Friday 29 – Saturday 30 December 2017. Get to see areas and projects not usually on view to the public and chat to our skilled aircraft engineers and volunteers, who love discussing what goes into rebuilding vintage aircraft, maintenance and the skills needed to keep these aircraft flying.

Our vehicle workshop team will also be on hand to talk about the on going restoration projects, what it takes to preserve and run The Collection’s historic Veteran, Edwardian and Vintage cars and bikes including the 1903 De Dietrich – our 2017 London to Brighton veteran vehicle run entry. Free rides will be available on our 1913 open top double Wellingborough bus (weather permitting).

Our Agricultural display will feature the Living Van, chaff cutter, tractors, and other exhibits, with volunteers on hand to explain how it all works, and the time and energy that goes into restoring items such as the Chaff cutter.

Ticket price includes entry to The Collection and to our picturesque Swiss Garden and that’s a lovely picturesque place to unwind in the fresh air!
