Hello! I will help you grow in your English abilities, whether English is your first or second language and you are 9 or 109. I have over 20 years’ experience in English teaching and assessment, including being a Head of English, developing literacy skills, and consulting for Exam Boards and Publishers. I am an enthusiastic teacher who will provide tailored sessions with ongoing monitoring of progress. I offer lessons to 9 year old's and upwards, whether developing skills in a particular area or preparing for a specific test/exam. I will adapt to your level, needs and interests and can cover skills such as speaking, listening, reading, writing, as well as spelling, punctuation, grammar and/or literature. I currently consult on a range of projects for Exam Boards focusing mainly on IGCSE English and English as a Second Language. I have been involved in English education from junior level to GCSE, including Functional Skills and Progression English for adults.
