I'm a DBS-checked guitar tutor and qualified teacher (PGCE, University of Exeter) based in Tunbridge Wells. I have extensive experience as a musician and songwriter (15 years+) having been signed to a UK-based independent record label. I'm a versatile guitar teacher with eclectic tastes and able to draw upon my 2+ years teaching experience in secondary education to develop students' acoustic and electric guitar technique in a range of styles including Rock, Pop, Indie, Folk, Blues and Country. I offer customised casual guitar tuition built around the students needs and interests. Tuition can take place both at my home or I can travel to students’ homes. I also offer tuition online via Skype. As part of my service I can advise students on songwriting/vocal techniques as well as setup or repair students' instruments to optimise playability.
