I bought this little boat last winter on moorings at Ringstead, near Kettering. I bought it as a winter project with the intention of selling this summer, so here she is: for sale!
Firstly I installed an auto bilge pump and a trickle solar panel charger. She was making a little water, which I later found was coming from the sky, not the river. So that problem was solved.
Next I did all the necessary work to enable a boat safety certificate to be issued. the certificate covers the 240vac, the 12vdc, and the Yamaha 25 outboard & is valid for 4 years from May of this year. I took the gas fittings out due to age & my dislike of gas on small boats. So all the 12 v and 240 v wiring and fittings have been replaced or checked thoroughly. It comes with a new microwave, a good small electric kettle, a sandwich maker/toaster, & a single ring electric hob, and a 12v cool box. The interior cabin is in reasonable condition and the upholstery is ok too. it has a toilet compartment with a chemical toilet, and a sink with a pump tap connected to an inboard tank.
The 2 fire extinguishers and blankets are either new or up to standard.
The after deck cover is in reasonable condition for its age, and so is the steering position and captains chair.
I have supplied a Yamaha 25 2 stroke which has been reconditioned at present on tiller steering. The boat has remote steering which could easily be connected up but remote gear and throttle equipment would be required to complete the job, & this can be obtained for around 150 pounds.
For cruising away from serviced moorings you would require a small generator, plus a camping cooker if desired.
