Great value holiday cottage in the Limousin region of France. Situated in a village with a picturesque lake. Local attractions include; World war II museum - Medieval town and castle - Wolf reserve and worlds biggest labyrinth maze - 19,000 acre national park and the biggest lake in France - UNESCO world heritage site for tapestry weaving - 2016 Tour de France cycle race.

45 minutes from the famous porcelain city of Limoges, with an airport and car rentals, ideal for budget price fly drive via Ryanair or Flybe from most UK cities. Equally easy to drive your own vehicle via channel tunnel or ferry.

French 18th century character cottage on two levels, comprising of a lounge with new double sofa bed, plus a single futon, kitchen with table and chairs, wood burner range with bread oven, staircase leading up to two double bedrooms and shower room.

The holiday home is self-catering and very well equipped with essential modern conveniences. Including a 4 ring gas cooker with oven and grill, all tableware, cooking utensils and cutlery, coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, fridge, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, new bed linen, pillows, continental quilts. TV and DVD player with films in English. Enclosed by a large fenced garden with trees, shrubs and flowers, out door furniture and sun loungers, plus a Boule set and BBQ with utensils

(For young children we have an inflatable pool, sand pit with toys, swing and seesaw, an extra single bed and baby cot plus high chair are also available)

The cottage is situated in the delightful quaint village of St Dizier Leyrenne with a church, post office, bakery and general store, pharmacy, war museum, restaurant and bar, plus the picturesque lake with picnic areas, children's adventure playground and tennis club. Fishing permits, bicycles and pony trekking are also available locally.

Flexible and affordable accommodation, spacious for just a couple and cosy for a family of up to 8 guests. Prices are for the entire cottage (not per person)
