The UK is a great place to be involved in digital, media and film, but it can be difficult to get some hands on experience or a foot in the door. As such, I’ve been thinking about starting a non-profit, independent filmmaking group in Worcestershire.
The idea would be that all members should help each other out; lending their time, expertise and equipment to each other's projects. We could collaborate to get ideas produced and make filmmaking fun, educational and accessible.
I’m really just trying to get a feel for whether anyone out there would be interested in meeting up and collaborating to get it all off the ground, perhaps with a small project. For background, I’m an IMDB-listed enthusiast who has previously worked on independent features, shorts, music videos and corporate film.
