Private lessons are available (£25/hour) and I also offer workshops each focusing on accompaniment of Flamenco singing (cante) or of dancing (Baile). In addition I teach 1 week courses every year in the mountains of Granada in Spain at Cortijo Romero (cortijo-romero.co.uk) together with my sister Ana Dueñas León who teaches Flamenco dance (Flamencodance.co.uk). Guitar and dance classes are co-ordinated to give a unique learning opportunity to all students. Next course in Spain is from June 4th-11th 2016, book early for discount.
I began studying with my uncle in Spain (professional Flamenco guitarist) and perform with our company Amor Flamenco (www.amorflamenco.co.uk) co-founded with my sister Ana. We perform internationally with many sellout shows nationally including the Pavilion Theatre Brighton. I have a passion for writing music and songs (Latin, Flamenco and other genres) many of which appear in top USA TV/Films such as Gotham, Ugly Betty, Covert Affairs, The Glades, Mistresses, Los Bandoleros (Vin Diesel) and more (JoseLeonMusic.com).
