Hi All it is with great reluctance I offer for sale my Ford Transit Autosleeper Duetto, Being a Autosleeper, it has every luxury possible, Autosleepers are the rolls Royce of Autohomes, this one is one of the later models, hence has a few extras, when compared with the earlier models. Fitted with the indestructible 2.5 turbo diesel banana engine. Low mileage 77k barley run in for a banana engine, mileage will go up slightly camper for mini holidays until sold. I looked long and hard to find an Automatic diesel in great condition, this one ticked all the right boxes, we have done 800 miles from Scotland through the Lake District not missed a beat. This motorhome has an automatic gearbox, consequently very relaxing to drive, allowing you to take in the scenery, personally find with the manual you’re constantly fighting the gear changes, extremely easy to drive. It’s had a fresh Mot .… As with all vans of this age, a little surface rust or early signs of rust is to be expected, I could have left it as is, however it was my intention to keep the van and wanted it to be perfect, hence I had all surface rust removed and freshly painted panels that were affected, the wheel arches on all transit vans no matter what the mileage are known for rusting, this van had all 4 replaced a few years ago, all 4 are in perfect condition. The van it comfortably sleeps 3, we are family of 4, Ive slept in the back along the kitchen area in a sleeping back, whilst the other 3 used the bed area.
