Free Ukulele Workshop Robertsbridge Hall. 6.30pm - 8pm. 15th Nov. No exp nec. We have spare Ukes

Ever wanted to learn an instrument and be able to play your favourite songs ? Got an old Ukulele gathering dust?
Need to get out of the house of an evening?
The Uke will bring the sunshine into your hearts any time any place anywhere, no matter what the weather is or what life throws at you. It's the perfect thing to take your mind of the day to day humdrum of life.
I run 4 & 10 week courses and the idea is to learn 1 or 2 songs a week, and then we give a small performance for our family and friends on, or shortly after, the last session.
No experience necessary, bring your uke if you have one. If you don't, we have spare ones.

I'm currently running free workshops all around East Sussex so either email [email protected] or come and say hello on Facebook. Details of the courses are below. Lots more courses starting at end of January 2017 in different areas. Robertsbridge, Bexhill, Hooe, Lewes and possibly Brighton.

Testimonials
'Claire's ukulele club is the most fun thing that happens in my week. She has the most delightful manner and is very musical, too. I've been on other uke courses but this is the best one.'
Sally Ann Lasson

"Claire Nicolson is expert at what she does - turning complete beginners into dedicated ukulele strummers. A wonderful musician, an inspiring teacher, an all-round terrific person." - Marcy Kahan

"Claire is a genius teacher - so patient when our mangled efforts at chords and timing would make a lesser teacher throw us all out. Not only that, but she encourages us to make even more of a mess of things!"
Ian Strathcarron

"Claire is a very engaging and very unique person. She is an extremely talented musician and knows exactly how to fill her students' minds with enthusiasm and courage - albeit we are at different levels of knowledge and accomplishment.. Somehow Claire has the gift of being able to pull us all together - playing and singing ukulele songs we never thought we'd be able to - with a lot of fun and laughter on the way. I personally I cannot recommend her classes more highly. I have been attending now for nearly a year and it's changed my life - is the highlight of my week"
Fiona Sandilands

"Claire has made learning and playing the Ukulele easy and immense fun. Her knowledge of the instrument, the best music for it, and skill that enables novices to zoom in their proficiency is remarkable. Everything is professionally run, but in a way that is seamless and all part of her magical way of passing on the joys of the instrument."
