Join acclaimed author Clare Harvey in an exploration of how portrait paintings can provide a stepping off point for the creation of historical novels and short stories. Clare's latest book, The Night Raid, features real-life war artist Dame Laura Knight as one of the main characters, and was inspired by one of her paintings of factory girls in WW2.
