This model is called N3, which came to me as a three speed. But I decided to upgrade this just for the hell of it. Bikes like this dont come to me very often (because they simply last forever is how well they are built). I have upgraded the gearing to 7 speed to keep more in tune with modern road bike demands of the roads.
I have installed Shimano Nexus N7 hub, with Shimano Revoshift indexed ear changers, and new comfort gel seat. The upgrade to 7 speed, with the wheel hub price (see picture), and the cost of the gel seat (see picture), these two elements alone amount to the cost of my asking price for the whole bike!
This is a low maintenance bike, because the gears and brakes are all built into the wheels as sealed components (hence why the wheels cost so much money), and the reason why these bikes last forever.
The cost of this model, (new N7 – 7 speed) is £475. So you can be sure a serviced one like this with all new gear and brake cables installed is a bargain at this price.
Condition:
There are a few scuff marks and scratches to the paintwork and graphics.
