I bought this as one item and wanted to restore and keep it as is to keep the costs down to a minimum. This telephone will suit someone that wants it to be fully working and restored to my usual standards but likes the age related imperfections gained over its 90 years. I have totally stripped it down and rebuilt it after cleaning and polishing each part. It has been fitted with an electronic microphone and one of my hand made quality line in cords with a UK telephone plug socket. The bell set has been totally re wired using a 1950s GPO coil to allow good quality receive and speech. This telephone has been set up to dial out and receive perfectly. It retains its original GPO No12 alpha numeric dial with stainless steel finger wheel. The braided cord to the ear piece is genuine as is the braided cord to the bell box and is around 4 feet long. Please see the pictures to make sure you are happy with the imperfections to the telephone and bell box. If you are looking for a perfect re-plaited painted model with all new cords then I should have a couple in by late February.
