Welcome to the biggest event in Harrow’s calendar this year! We would like to introduce you to the Harrow Festival and Event, coming to you this September! Spread over two days, The Harrow Festival and Event is set to be one of the largest of its kind in the area as an estimated 15,000 of you will walk through our doors! With a huge family funfair, first fully licenced outdoor bar EVER in Harrow, food from all around the world, Zorbing experiences, DJs, Holi Festival of Colour (Holifest), Community area and much more, you’d be crazy to miss out! If you attend a school in Harrow, then it’s your lucky day! We are giving away up to 20,000 FREE tickets to children attending schools in the Harrow area. This offer will only be available through your local school, and not through our website. If you would like more information, please speak to your school and ask them to contact us directly for the distribution of tickets. What’s on? Below we have listed everything you can expect to be at the event. We have made some adjustments to the line-up, and although we will not have the Foam Party as promised, Holifest is now set to take over, so there will be a LOT more colourful fun! Large Family Funfair Outdoor fully licenced bar / Beer Festival DJ’s throughout the day on our main stage Holi Festival of Colour (Holifest) World Food Arena Petting Zoo Zorbing Experience Market Street Business Zone Learning Zone Holi festival of Colour (Holifest) Special Holifest is going to be bigger and better than planned, with more DJs and music acts booked, you can be celebrating and throwing your colour around listening to the great music being blasted out all day, and larger exclusive acts, for the main Holifest event from 5pm on Saturday 3rd September! The daytime is going to be a family friendly affair, with everyone able to join in this rich tradition of colour throwing, and celebrating everything that is fun and wonderful in life, so grab a bag of colour and wait for the signal to throw it high. We would like as many people involved as possible! That includes anyone from 12 years of age upward. We will only allow a strict amount of colour to be sold during the daytime as the day event is intended to be a family friendly event. From 5pm, our festival of colour goes to a whole new level. With the whole zone open to over 18's only, you can party until 11.00pm! Your entrance ticket will include a bag of colour and some protective t-shirts, along with a few other goodies. The amount of extra colour you can buy will be unlimited during the evening as you listen to class acts performing live for you while you have some fun with your friends! Where are we? Our event is taking place in the picturesque grounds of Byron Park, just around the corner from Harrow Leisure Centre, and is just a short walk from Harrow and Wealdstone Underground Station. Byron Park Peel Road Harrow HA3 7QX We recommend using public transport to get to Byron Park, however if you do drive, please use all available car parks in Wealdstone and the surrounding Harrow areas, as Byron Park car park will not be available for use on either day. Opening times and who can go? Our event is open to everyone on both days, the only exception being our evening event, Holifest on the Saturday, which is strictly over 18s only. Holifest is a festival type event with live music, alcohol and DJs. If you are under 18, even if you have a ticket, or you forget your ID, you will be refused entry to the event. Saturday 3rd September 2016 All welcome from 12:00pm until 4:30pm Over 18s only from 5:00pm until 11:00pm* *Please note, from 5pm is a separate part to the event and if you are here for the whole day additional fees apply. If you look under 25 you may be asked to produce a valid form of ID upon entry. Everyone who attends the day time event will be asked to leave from 4:30pm so we can set up our over 18s event taking place from 5pm. Sunday 4th September 2016 All welcome from 12:00pm until 8:00pm Want to be a seller at our event? We are currently looking for the final additions to our extensive list of confirmed stalls for the event. We are looking for additional food stalls to go in our world food arena, along with a diverse selection of stalls with unique products to offer our customers. Please note that pitches will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and dependant on what you want to sell, as spaces are limited. Premium location stalls are more expensive and there are not many of these left, so if you want one you’ll need to act fast!
