This is a solidly built (old school) hard tail hybrid bike. From a mechanics point of view (and I’ve serviced hundreds of bikes), I’d take this bike over most of the modern bikes I get to service in this price range. The best way I can describe it is the difference between a Corsa and a Volvo, and I’d take the Volvo any day! I have fitted new mud guards, and new seat on this, and replaced the brake and gear cables. Condition: There are a few scuff marks and scratches to the paintwork and graphics. There is just a small surface rust on some steel parts like screws, and bolts, but nothing too serious to affect the overall performance of the bike.
Servicing: I have a workshop as in the pictures. My last pic on the advert shows what a bike shop would charge for just a service (without replacing any parts). Bike has had a 15 point service checklist, before being sold:
WHEELS: 1] Bearings checked and adjusted for smooth running. 2] Spokes tensioned to true wheel alignment. 3] Cog lubricated. 4] Inner tubes checked and inflated to correct pressure.
CHAIN: 5] Checked for wear, tensioned correctly and lubricated. 6] Pedals lubricated.
BEARINGS: 7] Chainring, (bottom bracket) bearings checked for wear. 8] Headset (top bracket), forks bearings checked for wear.
BRAKES: 9] Levers spring tension checked. 10] Calipers spring tension set. 11] New cables in. 12] Brake pads checked and set.
