Scarce, first edition 1980 fine art print by Robert Taylor entitled, 'The last moments of HMS Hood'. Strong signature in pencil, of the late Lieut. Ted Briggs M.B.E., R.N., who was the last remaining survivor of HMS Hood's crew, following the ship's catastrophic sinking when Hood, and Prince of Wales engaged KM Bismarck, and KM Prinz Eugen in the battle of the Denmark Strait, on 24th May 1941. Mounted in a good looking brass frame, with non-reflective glass. A fine and very worthy piece of British maritime history. All in.
