This apartment offers all the luxuries of a modern home, including a fully-equipped kitchen (washer/drier for clothes, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer plus lots of pots, pans and utensils for cooking), spacious living area, two bedrooms and modern bathroom.

The living room has two sofas which seat six and a seat that can fold out into a sturdy, comfortable single bed. The TV has dozens of satellite channels, including Sky Sports, Sky Movies and kids channels. There is also a dvd player. Plus a bookshelf stuffed with books which feature London, guidebooks for London and maps of London for you to take out with you. We also have dvds, toys for young children and games.

Large windows with Georgian wooden shutters look out to the historic street below. The adjoining kitchen is spacious, well-equipped and has a dining table and six chairs.

A short, steep flight of stairs leads up to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom has a bath, separate power-shower, basin with mirror, toilet and a smart black and white tiled floor and heated towel rail.

The large master bedroom has a king-size double bed and a single bed along with large wardrobe, feature mirror and Victorian chest of drawers (look in the top drawer for the hairdryer). The second bedroom has two single beds (adult sized) with Victorian chest of drawers, hanging space for clothes and mirror. Both bedrooms have 'black-out' blinds so that you are not woken by early morning sun. A cot (baby's crib) and highchair are available on request.

Bed linen and towels are included. A hairdryer, an iron and ironing board are provided.

We've upgraded our wi-fi in March 2016 so that wif-fi connection is fast (and free) throughout the apartment.

This is an ideal holiday home for a family or couples looking to explore London from a central base. It is a six minute walk from Russell Square tube station (subway) or Chancery Lane tube station. We will send you full directions and a map of Bloomsbury when you book.

The apartment can sleep six people but with only one bathroom, it is best suited to a maximum of five adults. When you book this apartment,you're in the heart of London but away from the crowds. Nearest tube stations are Russell Square (6 min walk) and Chancery Lane (7 mins), but you'll often find it as quick to walk to many of the main attractions. The British Museum is a 10 min walk and Charles Dickens' House (he wrote Oliver Twist here), is 1 minute away. London's West End with its fabulous shopping (Oxford St, Regent St), theatres, art galleries and landmarks (Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben) is close by. Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping Piazza is an easy walk. Heading East, you can stroll around the City of London, Europe's financial centre with its famous buildings (St Paul's Cathedral, the Gherkin, Tower of London, Wren churches, Tower Bridge).

Costs range from £300 - £650 (excluding electricity which is paid for by coin meter). Bookings are Monday-Sunday, whole weeks only during peak season.
