Honda CM125 C 1985 - £500 OVNO
I bought this bike just over a year ago as a custom chopper project. I have since completed my A2 license so no longer need any of my 125's and am also in the process of sorting my mortgage so would rather have the cash.
UPDATE: Since this was last listed and didn't sell I have completed more work on the bike and have started it, she STARTS but the carb does need setting up to keep her running as she revs erratically. See below for what more has been done.
As can be seen from the photos this CM is far from stock and was a project of mine to turn it in to a custom 125. The previous owner rebuilt the engine and polished the cases, then started the wiring work. He also told me that the Carb will need setting up prior to using the bike. The paintwork on the tank is by no means perfect but added to the 'Rat' look I wanted to achieve with the completed bike. There is a small dent in the r/h side of the tank.
What's been done
This CM has had a new gold chain and sprocket set along with a pod air filter, aftermarket Custom speedo gauge and smaller round headlight. The seat has been cut down and recovered and just needs securing in place with an M8 wingnut but I haven't got any. The exhausts have previously been chopped down and have slash cut ends bolted the them but I was going to remove the ends and just run it as is but never got round to taking the ends off.
Since last listed
I have now fitted the rear LED light and plate holder along with mounting the rear indicators, I have also replaced the side stand and fitted the 'warning light cluster gauge' to the bike with a custom ali bracket, I have done the wiring for the rear light and warning cluster and the photos show the lights working! I have also bought and fitted a brand new battery from Halfords.
What needs doing?
Left to do on the CM project is: 1). Indicator wiring Fr & Rr, 2). Horn (wires are labelled and inside the headlamp), 3). Carb needs setting up.
Parts included in sale:
-Haynes manual, -std chain guard, -std airbox, -replacement rear mudguard, -front led indicators -new helmet lock, -new steering lock.
I'll even through in two genuine Honda tank stickers for it aswell, I bought them when I worked at Honda but never needed them.
I have the V5 registered in my name and I can provide a HPi Check with the registration number and matching frame number. HPi is all clear. The last MoT expired in 2007 and when I bought it it hadn't been used since then, the last recorded mileage at that MoT was 22,871.
The bike is not stored with me so as much as I advise viewings, it will need to be a time that suits us both as I work shift hours.
I have started the bike but am not guaranteeing anything, no refunds or returns. Collection preferred but delivery may be available within 20 miles of TN21 for an extra.
