Honda RC30 TUNED BY THE LEGENDARY TONY SCOTT, Fantastic Investment Opportunity, This is a marvellous opportunity to acquire an absolute gem of the very desirable Honda RC30 motorcycle. In 1993 the bike was prepared to race at the Malaysian Road Races, this build was initiated by John Merrill of QB Carbon and John Hackett of Ducati Coventry who instructed Tony Scott to give the engine a full race tune and after completing all the work Tony marked up and stamped the engine with his name. Tony has been kind enough to provide us with the details of what was done for the initial work he did to the bike. It had a full tune / blueprint and was taken to the exact weights and tolerances that Honda intended which improves the bike, it was fitted with a Maxton rear shock and fork innards along with HRC coils. Sadly the race was cancelled due to weather conditions and therefore this bike wasn’t used to race in Malaysia and has never been raced at all despite its tuning. All the race components and carbon parts were removed and the bike was put back to standard with the exception of the tuned engine, coils and Maxton parts. The bike has been back to Tony Scott on two separate occasions and we have documented details of the work he carried out. Tony is known as the Guru for tuning RC30s and is world renown and can claim a prestigious reputation which is second to none, the race winning RC30 engines he has built have carried many famous names to victory including Carl Foggerty, Joey Dunlop, Nick Jefferies, Philip McCullen, Ryan Morrison and Steve Hizzy Hislop to name just some of the well known bike racers. Tony’s expertise has also helped many of the privateers along the way with their racing careers with his engine tuning skills. Tony Scott is the most famous RC30 Tuner / Blueprinter ever and was employed by Honda to build their RC30 race engines; his work is in a class of its own and he is a highly skilled artisan craftsman held in high esteem right across the world of
