Hovercraft Museum Show weekend 1000-1700 Sat & Sun 50+ Hovercraft open to the public, from the smallest to biggest, oldest to youngest. Come onboard an amphibious craft, as it 'fly's' from land to sea, around the Solent and back, truly a unique experience, never to be missed See the many volunteers, from all walks of life, young and old, men and women, who help keep this WORKING MUSEUM going. After this, if you feel you would like to join us in preserving this magnificent piece of British engineering, talk to us onsite (or the website), for full details - we're not looking for 'rocket scientists', just people with a passion for this mode of transport, where you can spend as little, or as long as you like with us, no contracts to sign. It doesn't matter if you're good with a spanner, or a tea pot!, all are welcome. Our more experienced and/or professional members, are always here to guide and train you and before you know it, you'll be at the controls of the museum's, (or your own craft). We rely entirely, on ticket entry money and contributions to keep us going, no lottery or Government funds, so if you feel you can help fund raise, we would like to hear from you 'yesterday..!', come on in.. we have a really good social life between our members too, where we relax and reminisce a little with the former Military and Civil Pilots and engineers, amazing stories and anecdotes;
