I basically have lots of experience and knowledge to be able to rebuild the computers that are donated and replace broken parts where possible. Although replacing parts generally means making payments so I do this by selling the ‘lower end’ computers. Any cash left over goes towards transport charges for sending PCs to their new homes.

I contact Charities all over the world and we determine together the logistics of me sending PC’s or Laptops across to them. If they need technical support I pay for local support out of the money I raise from sales. Sometimes it doesn't work out and it is quite frustrating and can be difficult for both parties. I have technical support from my dad and I have fund raising support and lots of contacts from my husbands environmental consulting.
