JEWELLERY MAKING FOR BEGINNERS

This is a beginners course to introduce you to a new crafting hobby. Over the five sessions you will be introduced to the tools and techniques to make five different pieces of jewellery. During the first week you will be able to make a simple necklace, either single, double or triple strand or an 'Illusion' necklace.  From here you learn how to use a range of pliers to manipulate silver plated copper wire or eye-pins into simple or wrapped loops.  Shamballa bracelet using macramé knots and learn how to cage and collar beads; fixed wire chokers or wire framed bangles. The course starts on Wednesday, 13th April 2016, 6:30-8:30pm, for 5 weeks and will be held in the Portsmouth Academy for Girls in St Mary's Road, Fratton.  For full details contact Sue Green on the link.
