This divan base system contains 3500 individual pocket springs which work to offer the best foundation for our hand side stitched range of Ultimate Collection mattresses. Improving on traditional sprung edge bases, it provides support across the entire surface, so that the whole mattress is secure to sleep on, eliminating the fear of ‘roll-off’.
The frame of the divan base is crafted from FSC Scandinavian spruce timbre, renowned for its resilience, fine grain and trueness of line. For these reasons, it makes for a solid and durable construction, helping support you through countless great nights’ sleep. Finally, it sits on metal shepherd castors which have been inset to create the impression that the base is floating.
