KRIEGSFLUGZEUGE, An original WW2 1942 German publication by Stand Sommer
This German pocket book was published at the request of the RLM (Reichsluftfahrtministerium), with a foreword by Luftwaffe General Field Marshal Milch.
The aircraft in the book are illustrated in photographic views with performance data and their silhouettes. It has all types of military aircraft in use at the time and include German, Italian, British, American and Soviet airplanes.
It was intended for civilian aircraft spotters, etc. and could be found during World War II in the uniform pockets of a great many Hitler Youth boys, BdM girls, Wehrmacht soldiers, sailors and airmen, as well as civilians.
Overall the book is in a reasonably good condition, but is has a few signs of wear and there is some writing in ink & pencil on a few pages; paper used is the economy low grade type, and so pages are all a light brown, rather than white.
