Land Rover Defender 1992 v8

80 GBP

Where to start so i bought this 2 years ago and was origionally a 2.5 tdi that blew up and took the gear box with it a month after i bought it. However she started life as a pick up until it was converted to hard top prior to me buying her. She was exported to ireland and she then came back here at some point.Anyway soon after i managed to get from a friend a 3.5 v8 from a 88 range rover with the lt85 gearbox to go with it. I had a mechanic remove and install of of this for me and have a receipt for this. She runs a treat and has tubular manafold and just rear silencer on and sounds amazing. She passed mot in may and just had 1 advisory but havent had the chance to sort it yet as i have too many cars and projects on the go. I have included in the photos the spec when i picked her up but since then have spend a few £££s on other bits. If anything she owes me money. I dont have any history pre me owning her as the idiot i bought it off, lets just say we went to court, didnt give this to me. I havent off roaded her infact i rarely use her so hence the sale. Couple of easy fixes that i may get round to are front wheel bearing and leaky water pump but they are cheap
to replace and pretty easy jobs but if i dont am happy
to drop money off so you can do them yourself. I also have a load of bits sitting round from conversion likes seats, seat box etc and you can have these aswell if you wish. Im in no rush to sell and she is priced at a resonable price based on other similar vans being sold. Log bookshows as a v8.Number plate
not in sale.Genuine interest
only please.
So extras that the landy has
2" lift kit - but i have standard springs
new galv chasis fitted pre me owning her

Bucket seats
Rear ply kit with carpet
Twin electric fans

Light guards
Steering guard when i converted her i had to buy most parts new so loads of new bits used on engine and ancillaries. I changed the whole seat box and floor when i did conversion. roller painted in satin black nato paint. Pretty good finish. Body work is not battered and bruised. Just a few bits left to do to your own taste like dash, wheels and roof lining etc I have the items ready to service i.e oil and sparks and will include these. I also have some parts for lpg conversion that i took off Due to the slight leak on the water pump if you are over 100 miles would suggest collection on trailer. However radiator holds 16 litres and is a slow leak. Can provide any more photos or vids of engine/ ehxaust if
