Learn how to massage your own dog

40 GBP

Two weekends…two workshops.  On the 16th and 23rd April we will be delivering two workshops for massaging your own dog.  The first workshop, on the 16th, is the popular “Introduction to Canine Massage” session where there is an interactive question and answer forum followed by guided hands on practice of at least eight techniques enabling you to perform an everyday massage routine with your dog. The second workshop, on the 23rd, is the “Next Steps” session for those who have attended the introduction course and want to consolidate their skills focussing on the ‘well-dog’ and canine athlete.  As well as learning a further eight techniques for your dog, you will be shown a warm-up / cool-down routine, a lymphatic drainage routine and discuss the techniques that are particularly useful for agility and working dogs. Both half day sessions, from 9:30 to 13:30 with a break, are held in a dog friendly space at Paws, Play and Stay Dog Care Centre in Rustington.  All you need to bring is yourself, your dog and something comfortable to work on, such as a mat or blanket, for you and your dog.  A certificate and online booklet of all the techniques covered will be supplied. Feedback and pictures from previous sessions can be viewed on the achypaw.com website or call Dr Les Ellam at AchyPaw for further details.  To book a place on either of these great value for money workshops, please contact Reception on 01903 785166 01903 7851...(click to reveal full phone number) (pawsplaystay.co).
