Learn West Coast Swing every Tuesday 7:15pm - 10:30pm at the Ladies Mile Pub (Function Room), Mackie Avenue, Patcham, Brighton, BN1 8RA INFORMATION ABOUT INSTRUCTORS AND CLASSES:
Joe and Lynsey Foster first started partner dancing in 2006. They discovered W...est Coast Swing in 2008, and haven’t looked back. Initially studying with Catriona Wiles and Paul Warden, they have subsequently taken instruction from many top tier international couples, such as Kyle Redd and Sarah Van Drake. They travel regularly to learn and compete, including to the USA.

Joe & Lynsey have been heavily involved in the West Coast Swing Community in the UK - both teaching and assisting for various organisations, including West Coast Swing UK. Joe is also a well known dance event photographer in the UK West Coast Swing community, having shot many large dance events.

They are both looking forward to sharing their experiences with the dance community in Brighton, and bringing their shared passion to more dancers!

CLASS TIMES AND WHAT TO EXPECT:

7:30 - 8:00pm - West Coast Swing Basics - Free for new & existing dancers. New to WCS? This class will teach you the basics you need to get on the dance floor. Experienced dancers will benefit from individual and coupled drilled practice.

If you like what you see and wish to participate in our other classes and / or social dancing, then the price for the evening is just £7.

8:15pm - 8:45pm - Technique - Covering the core requirements of west coast swing, focusing on a particular facet of the dance each week.
8:45pm - 9:00pm - Short Break / Freestyle

9:00 - 9:30pm - Progressive Patterns - Extending your technique and basic patterns into variations, musicality and success for social dancing.

9:30-10:30pm - Social
