Lovely sailing boat, very easy to sail. Reluctant sale or shared ownership. Her name is Iona, the information has been passed to me from the previous owner. 1976 4/5 berth, fin keel with a 1.19m draft. The hull is one piece of moulded GRP for minimum maintenance, I rubbed the whole hull down and anti-fould 3 years ago. A balsa sandwich deck provides strength and excellent insulation. The keel is cast iron. Rudder and Skeg are moulded GRP , with steel framework and fittings. There are moulded non-slip areas on deck. The engine is four years old and only used to get in and out of the harbour (currently moored at Shoreham by Sea). All standard rigging and rigging screws are in stainless steel. All running rigging was replaced in 2011. Five berths are available in the accommodation which comprises of a main saloon cabin in a dinnet arrangement, with a large fore cabin. There is a separate toilet compartment that is in good working order, a galley with two gas burners and a grill, a sink with fresh water pump including fresh water tank under the forward cabin. Much use is made of teak and teak veneers throughout the cabin giving a ward appearance. The sits are a little tires, so could do with a new upholstery.
