The long haired coat of the Japanese Spitz has a thick under-layer that is always a pure pearly white. The tail is covered with long hair and is carried curled over the back. They are cheerful, bold and affectionate dog. This tough little dog acts as a house protector and guardian. They grow to 12 to 15 " at the shoulder and love nothing more than playing. They are also a very intelligent and fast learner.
