About Mark Jennings:
Mark has been playing classical guitar for most of his life having started lessons from an early age. He attended the London College of Music, studying classical guitar performance with Carlos Bonell.
Mark has enjoyed a variety of successful musical collaborations with other musicians. In the early 1990s he was a member of the Baroque Players, which he co-founded with his peers at the conservatoire. More recently he has performed as a guitar duo with Peter Rueffer, founder of The Pro Arte Trio and Music Director of the Dillington International Classical Guitar Festival.
Mark is also keen to play with other types of instrumentalists. He has more recently formed the Paganini Duo, for violin-guitar, which includes at various times the violinists, Tim Callaghan, formerly of the Covent Garden Orchestra, and Head of Strings at Christ’s Hospital, and Andrew Wickens of The Philharmonia Orchestra.
