It is not a close-up filter but a lens attachment that provides (edge-to-edge sharp) macro lens image quality whilst avoiding the added weight and size of a fixed focal length macro lens. With +3 diopter it reduces your lens mfd (minimum focus distance) to around a third giving significantly increased magnification. Superb accessory that screws to the front of your 77mm lens, or smaller lens thread with step-up ring. In mint (as new condition). Best for lenses with 50mm or greater focal length.
