Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa is arriving early to bring a free gift to every child this year. He’ll be meeting, greeting and listening to the Christmas wishes of children at Horley’s Mitchells Building Centre in Station Road, on Saturday 10th December, from 10am to 12 noon. As part of the festivities, there will also be free mince pies for every visitor. Established since 1900, Mitchells says Santa’s visit has become a tradition at the store. A spokesperson at Mitchells says: “Santa makes a special stop to us every year, and last year Mitchells gave away over 100 free gifts to local children! It’s wonderful seeing so many happy, smiling faces eagerly waiting for Santa’s special appearance.” Adding: “With all the tools of the trade available to us, we were able to create our own Grotto and are now in the process of making it extra magical with the addition of lights, tinsel and plenty of glitter. Don't miss our eco-friendly, energy-saving LED ‘TREEbrights’ fairy lights, with up to 4 times as many lights per metre as regular lights, giving your tree an extra dazzling sparkle this Christmas. “At Mitchells we've got useful gifts everyone will love, including gadgets, DIY tools and things to keep your home cosy and organised this winter. If you need paint mixing, extra storage or lights for Christmas, you'll know where to go - we've got everything you need to make your home look amazing for Christmas!;
