My name is Ignacio, but everyone calls me Nacho (yes, I know... like the Mexican crisps). My name can be seen as a funny way to call someone, but in fact, in Spain and South America it is a very normal nickname for Ignacio. Anyway, if you want to make some jokes about it, you can. Unfortunately, I´m used to it... Some even say I´m a cannibal because I like to eat nachos.
Well, I´m from Madrid, Spain, and lived in the UK for a few years and am now back home teaching my language online.
I received a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Salamanca and also I hold a Master´s in Green Energy and another in Education. When I finished at university, I decided to discover what the world had to offer me. Then, I moved to the UK where I wanted to improve (or learn) English. My stay there was longer than I initially thought. I had so many jobs, from a job as a kitchen porter in a restaurant to some jobs in different companies and even in several secondary schools where I worked as a Science teacher.
After living in London, Blackpool, Oban (Scotland), York, Leeds and a short time in Germany where I taught Spanish as a freelancer in my free time in all these places, I found out that teaching my language was my real passion.
I later spent a part of my time working in an NGO where I supported people with their Spanish, especially people from Africa. In addition, I received the ELE certification as a Spanish teacher for foreign people "Teacher specialising in the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language". International House Madrid. An accredited centre of Instituto Cervantes.
Thanks to this long journey, I have experience from elementary to advanced levels with one to one private classes and groups as well, and what I can say is that every student is different. I consider that student A and B have different needs. Because of this reason, my program and method are very flexible and my lessons are 100% customised to you.
