Working as a TalentEd tutor gives you the opportunity to:

- Teach without the pressures of planning lessons, reports and data management.
- Use your experience and qualifications to tackle educational inequality.
- Build a relationship with the same six students over a year and support them to develop the skills and aspirations to realise their potential.
- Earn between £30-40 for a 2 hour session.

TalentEd offers high-ability Year 10 students a year-long programme of weekly small group (1:6) sessions in schools across London. Our qualified teachers and inspirational role models improve GCSE grades and academic and career options. Every young person should have the support, skills and aspirations to realise their potential. Sadly, this is not the case for young people from low income areas in the UK and educational inequality is highest amongst the brightest students.

Our Programme
TalentEd sessions run for two hours after school every week over three terms. Every session starts with food and conversation, followed by carefully planned interactive tasks and reflection. Students develop self-awareness, study skills, aspirations and the ability to pursue future options through a series of themes including:
- Growth mindsets and resilience
- Presentation and debating skills
- CV writing and interview practice
- Structuring essays
- Revision and exam techniques

TalentEd provides differentiated session plans which allow room for creativity and flexibility. Sessions also involve inspiring undergraduate mentors, external speakers and workplace and cultural.
