Residential Support Worker So are you caring? Inspirational? Optimistic? As a Residential Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our young people. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting them in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital. Duties will include Welfare support to tenants.Supporting with mental health needs. Personable care if applicable. Help to access benefits. Help with accessing the community. Providing sign posting services for drug and alcohol addiction.Help to access education and employment Provision. Essential Requirements NVQ Level 2,3, Health and social care or working toward. Enhanced DBS clearance. Previous experience working young people with challenging behaviour. Excellent Communication skills Effective organisational capability.Great team player.Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support.A Strong "can do" attitudeA clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.The ability to work a shift system that includes working some weekends and bank holidays.
